Rust with a nice move to get the Goal. McGroarty getting it done with some strong board work and a quick pass for the assist, his first NHL point.

Dewar gets the Goal grinding in front from the strong cycling by Rakell in the Blues Zone. That was a strong shift starting with Sid's Line getting it going.

Wonder if the right play would have been to force Kyrou offsides instead of swatting at the puck. Whatever.

Blues jump on the turnover and Buchnevich put Jarry to Sleep taking advantage of Hayes.

Followed by the Stellar Defensive Play allowing his man to get behind him from the "Core Guy" Kris Letang who continues to be an Albatross on the Ice.

I love how media (cough, Taylor) craps all over Kolyachonok, pointing out his declining advanced metrics (Corsi, shots, goals, etc). A closer look shows:

Kolyachonok with Letang: 60m TOI 5v5, 33.5 CF%, 36.2% ShotsFor, 28.8% Scoring Chances For
Kolyachonok away from Letang: 88m TOI 5v5, 53% CF%, 52.4% ShotsFor, 48.6% Scoring Chances For

But yep, Kolyachonok is bad and has analytics are bad.

Accountability? :face:

Letang is Free from any Concern for his On Ice Play.Never gets addressed.

Not a coincidence regarding those numbers and Kolyachonok.

They definitely are a difficult team to defend.Pressure and strong forechecking.
