No reason to win this game. Devils taking us and our horrible lineup lightly.
Feels like a September Pre Season Game.Very little intensity or tempo.
Devils have nothing to play for since their playoff matchup with Carolina is set.

We really didn’t need these 2 points.
No.Or that Chicago Win Tuesday.Didn't help the Draft Spot.
Devils looked like they went into Cruise Control after going up 2-0.

With all these milestones and also seeing a lot players play well at parts of the season, at what point does ownership and management see that Sullivan is not the right coach for this team right now? His coaching approach has kept the team out of the playoffs for 3 seasons now. How much rope does he get?

This 7 Year Stretch without winning a single Playoff Series is only outdone by a 10 Year stretch from 1979-1989 in Franchise History.
3 Straight Non participating in the Playoffs at all.
Not nearly enough Attention or Intensity paid to this from the people running this Organization.

But Dubas sees Mike every day, in the office early, stays late. He KNOWS this coaching staff is putting in the work.

One thing has become obvious. Boston ownership does not care one bit how badly Boston wonder-boy Sullivan does with this team. The Pens could miss the playoffs for ten more years straight, and he won't be gone until he decides to go. :face:

They need the bottom 6 to have guys with speed and not continue to trot out Acciari,Hayes and Nieto for the entirety of next year.

We have seen what the results are from this approach.

They're willfully destroying their draft capital. No one should be absolved of this!

Games like this should be like a massive flashing neon light for Dubas to not fill any of the empty forward roster spots with bottom 9 guys.

We're not helped by any of that. Someone wants to repeat the Hayes contract dump? Nope, get lost. Or give me an unconditional first rounder and a fourth or something. And/or a GM that will unceremoniously dump said player in the minors and play young guys.

We have young players that will do at least as much as a line with Acciari, Hayes and Nieto. Clear out a bunch of forwards and don't hire more rubbish!

That should be a silver lining. Please make that happen?

If moving from #7 to #12 in the draft and we can get a whole bunch of WBS talent NHL roster spots... I might even find that worth it. Step up Dubas, or step out!

Other than bringing another Lizotte-type, I couldn't agree more. Hopefully all of Acciari, Hayes, Heinen are gone by next season's trade deadline.

Even if they can bring in someone with clear upside, I still rather they ship a veteran contract off around the same time.
