Bortuzzo Injury

Post by Krom »

I see that he's out of the Memorial Cup with a shoulder injury. Anyone know how serious?

That's a bummer. He was leading the OHL in +/- in the playoffs. Would have been good experience for him. He was the only Pens prospect that was going to be playing in the Memorial Cup.

He missed a couple games in the OHL playoffs too.

He did end up playing in the Final. When I saw him play I thought immediately of Kjell Samuellson. He is tall, and has a very similar skating style. He is a very looooong dude, which at his age makes him look a bot awkward.

I didn't get to see him play healthy though. He didn't log a ton of minutes in the final, especially after they fell behind.
