Pens sign Veilleux

The Pittsburgh Penguins have signed forward Keven Veilleux to a three-year entry-level contract, it was announced today by Executive Vice President and General Manager Ray Shero .

I didn't even catch that... I was all prepared with a smart comment about the number of WBS games left, so as not trigger this as a 'year', then I discovered the team link, and posted that instead.

I thought Keven Veilleux was supposed to be playing for the Baby Pens. Anyone know why he isn't?

Probably just due to the fact that there's good chemistry already on the team. If I'm not mistaken, Caputi and Jeffrey are older and considered more "pro-ready" than KV. I'm sure it's not an indictment of his talent, it's just an issue of numbers and chemistry
