Let's Go Pens Chant

Post by holeinone »

When they were presenting the conference trophy to the Red Wings the other night did anyone hear the Dallas fans chanting "Let's Go Pens" I thought it was great and apparently the Dallas fans have no love for Detroit

speaking of chants, can we please get more sophisticated than "LETS GO PENS" at the games? How about one of those real chants that sound like singing... we have a creative bunch here - let's come up with something new. Lets Go Pens and Go Home Flyers get a bit old.

I think a complicated chant will just confuse the masses.

I was at the game, and yes, they were chanting "Let's Go Pens!" It was a vocal group in one of the corners, but others were chanting on the escalators on the way out.

I've heard that on the radio, too!
Fantastic crowd the Stars fans!

PS Let's not mess up our chant. Stay classy Pittsburgh.

Um, no dice with getting rid of "Lets Go Pens." in my book. That is and will always be the cheer of the Pens.

I can't believe people waste their energy and get worked up trying to change chants. It's always something...if you don't like the chant, don't join in

Dallas fans really impressed me this post-season. They were vocal and into each game, win or lose.

Oddly, the arena seemed desolate during the regular season.

Red Wings fans were impressed as they thought the Dallas crowd was chanting "Lets Go Wings." It's great to hear they were acutally chanting "Lets Go Pens."

Lets Go Pens chant will forever be THE chant of the Pittsburgh Penguins. I always get jacked when I hear little chants outside the arena of "Here We Go Penguins, Here We Go." I always yell out..."You're going to a Pens game...not a Steelers game. I love football and the Steelers but imagine someone at a Steelers game starting a chant of "Lets Go Steelers"....I know it doesn't roll of the tongue but you catch my drift.

Speaking of our chant, those of you who are going up to Detroit-- we better hear you!! Show our boys some love on the road. Don't get beat up or anything, but you know what I mean... :D

or even a song -

when we sang na na na na hey hey hey goodbye - it was nice, and very much in-tune I must say.

SO let's find a new chant-song to sing at the games.

my buddy wanted to start a "1 9 7 5" chant at game 1 versus flyers but the place would barely even support any lets go pens chants so we decided better of trying to get clever.

That would have been great for the end of Game 5.
