Filewich has had a lackluster season, and so far hasn't looked that well or that bad in the playoffsrelantel wrote:Is there any correlation between Filewich's return and the two-game losing streak? Looks like he wasn't in the lineup for game 1, but has been for games 2-3-4
Filewich in the line-up, means no physical deterrent such as Bissonnette or Bonvie. Without those two in the line-up the Pirates can play without worrying as much.

And WBS has held on to win 4-3 and even the series at 2 games each.

I was at the game last night. Pens looked pretty good. Goligoski looks a notch above. Poised, smooth and speedy. Tracked down a guy he was 2 strides behind on opposing blue line to snuff out a breakaway.
Lannon looked pretty solid as well. Mold of Scuderi.
I bumped into Kevin Stevens after the game. In town on his scouting gig. He is a large human. Sort of plumped up after his playing days.
