He cant skate
Awful Balance
Zero skills
He was a punching bag in the ECHL.
Notice the film clips are 2 years old.
Aaron "skated away" from fights with quality ECHL heavies(Nate Kiser, Will Bodine, Riley Emmerson, Grant Mcneil)
I would have to disagree...
I interned with the Nailers last season and went on the road with them...
He whooped on guys...he isnt the greatest skater but he was better than leroux lol...He is a really nice guy too...

I think it was a bit of a lost season for him in Wheeling.Gage18 wrote:FC wrote:I live in an ECHL city...Boogaard is terrible.

He should do well next year, fighting-wise with WBS.

I kind of hope Biss gets a QO this summer because I think he has some potential. He's gotten a rep as a hard*** in the past, but deserves credit for reinventing himself this yearHenry Hank wrote:I think if the organization has any hope of developing an enforcer, it'll be Bissonnette as a converted winger.

I was one of the people who wrote him off after he was sent to Wheeling. I'm happy to say I was wrong. I got to meet him and talk to him for a Faceoff Factor report and even he said at the time that he was just going out there and having fun (fighting included) so that he could get a contract with some other team in the summer. I talked to him within the last month and he is now fairly confident that he will be at a Pittsburgh training camp this preseason.K2 wrote:I kind of hope Biss gets a QO this summer because I think he has some potential. It seemed (from the people I talked to) that the plan was for Boogaard and Bonvie to alternate games while both were on the WBS roster, so that Bonvie could mentor Boogaard (much like he did for BGL on the Hamilton Bulldogs back in the day). However, Boogaard's lack of hockey sense as well as his poor skating kept him in the ECHL while AHL rookies like Havern, Johnson, Caputi, and Jeffrey got a chance with the AHL team.

I live in a city thats 1 hour away from 3 ECHL cities.
-Nake Kiser made Boogaard piss his pants..
-Grant Mcneil challenged the entire Nailers bench multiple times
-Will Bodine(Who maybe the hardest puncher in the ECHL) knocked out a Nailers defensemen(Chris Brooks I want to say) with a nasty elbow...He then challenged Boogaard...He wanted no parts of it.
Gino Pisselleni handled the rough stuff for the Nailers.
If the point of this thread is about the Pens future heavyweight...I have a quick answer...Steve Mcintyre of the Providence Bruins...Free Agent this off season.
