Too bad the parent Pens couldn't score on both parts of a 5 on 3 last night... WBS making it a game of it again. Good luck boys, 9:44 to go in regulation.

I see the AHL allows the same checking from behind as the NHL last night, and then 20 seconds later, Smith is in the box for the Baby Pens for a similar but different hit. Smith at least didn't hit clear on the numbers.

That hurts. Bad sequence of non-call & call, and The Answer beats us.

Yeesh. Should've been icing on Chicago, instead it's icing the other way with too little time left.

Three in a row at WBS coming up, must-wins.

Goligoski recalled to PIttsburgh after the game -- Fletcher noted injuries and unsure about Letang's status as he's attending Bourdon's funeral -- Any chance he gets in the game tomorrow for an offensive spark?

Interesting on Goligoski's callup. Given the schedule, it doesn't hurt WBS at all, since should the Pens lose Game 5, he can be sent back down prior to WBS game 3.

I wonder if there was concern for Scuds after last game? Or maybe it is just being prudent with having a 7th available should something happen during game day skate tomorrow?

I read on another site he was called up as a emergency backup as Letang flew out to Luc B's funeral. In case Letang had travel trouble and couldn't get back in time, Goligoski would be a healthy scratch. Wouldn't play unless someone else was sick or hurt.
