Even though they lost game 3 at home, I still think that the Baby Pens will win tonight.relantel wrote:Must be a jinx to have parent and farm team in the finals the same year... last time it happened was 1999, when Buffalo & Rochester both lost.
WWGRD, do you see the Pens staving off the sweep?
The team has too much character to get swept, imo.
Plus Bonvie's gonna be rallying them in the locker room.
I'm watching the game tonight, so I'll have updates

They look good, and great compared to their play in games 2 and 3.clover11 wrote:I know its tied, but how do the pens look WWGRD?
Their powerplay has clicked (both goals were on the PP)
But their penalty kill hasn't been good (both goals allowed were on the PK)
The Pens main problem has been defense.
There was nothing you could do on the Wolves first goal, it was a perfect tic-tac-toe play.
The Wolves 2nd goal made us look horrible. Alain Nasreddine just stood there and let Haydar walk right in front to score.
I'm watching on B2, but if you want to watch for yourself go here:

The game is on the NHL Network, so that's why it's getting a stream I guess.

i hate to pick on the kid, but when Minard doesn't get into the play early in the game, it seems like he holds back his line a bit. when he makes his presence known, the pens are a much better team, offensively.
what's wb/s' record when minard scores? it seems like minard scoring is the key to victory.
oh, and...
THE MINARD TRAIN!!!!!!

The Pens just bought themselves a game five tomorrow night. ~*Ginger wiping brow*~
The Wolves goalie Ondrej Pavelec is really good. Very quick, butterfly goalie, athletic & really flexible. But big! According to his prospects sheet, he is prone to having a weight problem so if he can stay in shape, I can see him moving up to the NHL pretty soon.
Soooo...on to tomorrow night & GO PENS!!!!!!!!!!
