Kemp is one of the premier offensive defensemen in the AHL and Henrich is a feisty power forward who started last year in Wheeling before graduating to Norfolk.

Looks like good AHL depth to me. At this point, looks like they can count on having Minard, Henrich, Caputi, Jeffrey, Johnson, Letestu, Wallace, and Bissonnette at forward plus Goligoski, Engelland, Lovejoy, and Kemp on D. D'Aversa and Boogaard are also possibilities, and Stone, Brent, and Filewich will be down there if they can clear waivers. I assume at least Filewich can. Looks like they need a few more forwards and defensemen... hopefully they can get some guys who have some NHL experience.

Great AHL signings. Henrich did well for Norfolk after he got promoted from Wheeling and had a lot of people wondering why WBS didn't snap him up while they had a chance. Kemp's a top offensive d-man in this league and will be a replacement for Ardelan. He's better defensively than Ardy so it's probably an upgrade. He kind of reminds me of Mike Weaver, about the same height, and offensively gifted
