GH: World Tour has uploading ability (360/PS3/Wii) and the ability to create your own songs.

This is either gonna be good or bad depending how they manage it.
is the new GH coming out for ps2 also?

yes, but I'm not sure how the online play works. I know you can't upload custom songs, but there's no word if you can or cannot download songs.

I'm probably grabbing the wii version just for the online features, but I think you can customize your own songs in PS2 but you can't transfer them or something. I'll admit to kinda skimming the article on the PS2 part and not paying complete attention.

Yeah, it's too soon to tell how cool the uploaded content by other users will be, but the music studio seems like it will be really powerful. I saw a video awhile back where one of the devs went through it.

If you have too much time on your hands, here is a preview of sorts of the game: http://wiki.scorehero.com/wikka.php?wak ... ticleIntro" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Also, if you see any of the Wii videos/images you will see why Vicarious Visions is quickly becoming one of my favorite companies. Unlike 99% of third party developersm they put the msot into the Wii version and deliver nice graphics and a fully featured game.

I haven't had time to get into a big game in probably 6 months, but the last two games I played were Gothic and Gothic 2. Wow. Unbelievable. Felt like I came off a big adventure after I was done with each.

I have a box of older games that I still haven't played. No One Lives Forever 1 + 2, Serious Sam 1 + 2, Will Rock, Call Of Duty + expansion, Star Wars Knights Of The Old Republic 1 + 2, FarCry. Can't remember more, but there are probably 15 or so games in there.

I'll get to some of them eventually. I'm thinking about installing Will Rock - I'm in serious need of shooting some monsters.

If you're in the mood for shooting monsters... endless, endless waves of monsters... I'm talking giant piles of corpses here... then install Serious Sam. The screams of those headless suicidal bomb bastards will haunt your dreams.

You need to get to work on playing those games. The ones you listed are all absolutely superb. Make sure you play NOLF in a "sneaky" fashion. If you run 'n' gun through the game, you won't overhear all the scripted conversations that the guards and other characters are having. Those are so funny it's worth playing the game just to hear them.

Zelda: Wind Waker

I remember thinking when it first came out how stupid it looked and how much cooler it would have been with "realistic" graphics. But in actuality, because it is cartoony, it doesn't look as dated as it would have if they took a more lifelike approach.

I'm starting that as soon as I beat Metroid Prime.

Do you like the game??

Yeah. It's a pretty good game. Even after 4 or so years.

I played through it a couple of times when it first came out. I put it in a few weeks ago trying to get my girlfriend into it. I ended up doing the majority of the playing and I'm about half way through now.

I haven't played it yet. My buddy gave me his Gamecube, and that is one of hte games I bought since I love the Zelda series.

Does it take a long time to beat it? I'm the type of guy that goes for 100% completion and does all of the side games.

Also, I heard the sailing is long and gets boring as you progress through the game. True?

I'm a little disappointed. I thought you could convert normal songs to guitar hero format :(

I seriously just bought this TODAY. You like it?
Sorry it took so long to reply.

First, you have to understand that I love the FFs that stay true to the originals, even if it means playing what my friends call "antiques" or "archaic graphics". I never got to play FFII, so, yeah, I'm loving it.

I'm really impressed with how they modernized it as much as possible. Digitizing, minimizing pixelation, increasing battle speed (the ability to just hold down the x button, since that's all you do in most battles). I trip out on how much better everything looks compared to the way they looked on the nes.

I'm not sure how I feel about the way you level up, but it's different, so it's kinda cool. (I'm a mad level builder.)

When you're in the snowmobile you can access a mini game that involves matching pics. Great way to build up money, quickly. Once you get the toad spell to level 16, if you can get a perfect score in the game, you'll win a masamune. Hold down the circle button and press the x about 22 times to access the game. You must be in the snowmobile, though.

There is no guidance with the Arcane Labyrinth but it's essential for maximizing fun in the game (and getting characters' ultimate weapons). However, once you enter you may not teleport out and there is no way to save your progress unless you find the way out.

The NW labyrinth has 4 dungeons, the NE 7, the south has 10. (Good to know before deciding to try one out.) Have at least 4 keywords and Minwu in your party before even attempting the first one. Once you finish the first three labyrinths you'll unlock the sanctuary where you'll meet a very tough enemy. Defeat him and you re-open the first three labyrinths so that you may follow the paths with the new words you learn. Rinse and repeat until all the dungeons have been played through. You won't know, but in many of the labyrinth dungeons there will be a task that you must perform in order to learn a new word. These will be the only places you can learn these key words. So if you miss one, you need to do that dungeon again.

Let me know if you need any help. There's not much guidance for the Arcane Labyrinth online.

There is a lot of stuff to do, so getting 100% takes awhile. I did this only once because I would have gone insane.

The main thing I hate about the game is the sailing. it gets old for me. Some people don't mind it though. I don't buy that the Ballad of Gales makes the sailing not too bad. it still only takes you to 8 spots on the map, so you still sail alot.

I dislike that it looks like you are playing a little kids game, but that is just my opinion.

It's still a good game though. I like it better overall than Twilight princess to be honest. I really liked TP on my first play through, especially some of the boss fights which I thought were very unique and awesome. However, when I went back to play through a second time, I got bored after the 7th temple and just stopped.

Pretty much done with Lego Batman, save for a few stray mini-kit pieces. It was fun, but like Lego Indiana Jones, I am not sure there is a compelling reason to pick it up again once you have completed it 100%.

Playing a bit of GH3 to get ready for WT next weekend... I'm just a tiny bit fired up. :)

For anyone who is interested, there are videos of all the songs on youtube: http://www.youtube.com/profile_videos?user=pdtecrj" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
