Kovy27 - I'll be lucky to beat anyone. I'm good at NFL Fantasy Leagues but when it comes to hockey or baseball, my two favorite sports. I suck. My risk taking usually works for NFL but not MLB or NHL.

I suck at fantasy Hockey. I am biased, and take players I like. That system never works.

Baseball...haha...It seems that Todd Helton is always my first pick. Matt Morris is always my #1 pitcher. Its amazing for how many years in a row, I have had almost the same line-up.

Whatever you do, please DON'T let MCM join! He spends enough time on fantasy football, fantasy hockey, and fantasy golf (if you can believe it, I think that's his favorite!).

I want to have fun this summer, traveling around, taking lots of photos, and ignoring computers!

I'll send him a personal invitation. :-) :-)

Actually, you might get to do both, I hear the best way to pick fantasy players is to travel the country and watch them play in their own ball park.

I'm game...I promise I won't crap out like I did with yahoo fantasy hockey.

I'll do it as long as we have some kind of draft where we pick the players ourselves and not rank them and let the computer pick them (ie either a live draft on Yahoo, or if that won't work, we could have an offline draft on the board or something).
Peter

Post by Peter »

Yes we'll have a live draft. I will set it up as soon as I get more league name suggestions.

LGP on Juice is good...haha

I like LGP on Juice.

As for draft times, any time in the evening, like from 5 or 6 on is good for me, or any time on Saturday. I have school Monday and Wednesday and work daylight the rest of the week except Saturday.

I saw the Yahoo Fantasy Baseball signup stuff the other day and was thinking about trying to find a league, so this comes with good timing.
Peter

Post by Peter »

Well how about a Saturday, say 10:00 AM for a draft? or 11?

DO you guys want rotissore or head to head? http://help.yahoo.com/help/us/baseballp ... es-07.html
MrKnowNothing

Post by MrKnowNothing »

That time would work fine for me, although I would have to break the trend of sleeping til 4 PM on Saturdays that I'm building.

I prefer Head to Head for a league, personally.
