Walmart has songs on their website for download for only 88 cents.

Not sure if it's the best value but my wife uses iTunes for her iPod.

Use myspace.com to download. Not every band on there makes downloads available, but a majorite do, and its free.

Ares Galaxy is great for illegal downloads. Spyware free and usually finds what you are looking for...

If it's an iPod, then iTunes would probably be worth the money.
Do not download Kazaa under any circumstance, though.

Imesh, especially v5 since it's spyware free, works quite well

I don't know if we should really carry on this discussion - dont want to get Admin in any trouble here.
But soulseek is the best for music if you want albums, and torrents are the best for movies or other large files (I only use it to catch up on TV shows I miss).
