Does anybody own "Left 4 Dead?" The demo is pretty great, wondering if it's worth a buy or just a rent.

yes...but the brutal lag and inability to tag mobs before the other 25 people in the area isnt enough to stop us, is it?

Pro Evolution Soccer 2009. everyone's hyping fifa this year and dissing PES, but man, i just put in 8 hours yesterday. i'm unbelievably addicted to this series. over the last 5 years or so, it's counted for probably 80% of my video gaming. GTA and Halo series have taken up 15%, i'd say.
off today, so off to play, suckers. the rpg improve-with-experience element dominates this game. as does the thrill of scoring. i can't overemphasize that enough. no other single player sports game COMES EVEN CLOSE to the horrible anger/euphoric relief this game provides.

I was on hiatus for a while, (just too busy), playing my video game. I kicked some butt this weekend on Metroid Prime. I'm about 70% of the way through the game and have everything (scans for log book, missle/bomb expansions, energy tanks). I hope to finish this up and then move onto my newley purchased Lego Batman.
Then onto Zelda the Windwaker.

I love that game. Out of curiosity, do you have the Player's Choice or original version?newarenanow wrote:Metroid Prime

Haven't drummed up the money for my 3rd gen console so went with a classic- Roller Coaster Tycoon. If anyone says they never played that they are a liar.

Close enough. Though I dunno if you can kill people with as much vigor and reckless abandon in that one as you can in RCT.Idoit40fans wrote:Sim Theme Park is the closest i've gotten. I think thats what its called anyway.

I loved Roller Coaster Tycoon 2. Actually the last month or so, I've been searching all over my parents house trying to find it and I can't.Samsdog wrote:Haven't drummed up the money for my 3rd gen console so went with a classic- Roller Coaster Tycoon. I only played it for about 10 minutes at a friend's place anyway, and didn't like it.Samsdog wrote:Close enough. Wind Waker is a tremendous game. A lot of people don't give it a chance because of the graphics, but the art work is perfect and the graphics just fit perfectly with that game.newarenanow wrote:I was on hiatus for a while, (just too busy), playing my video game. Right now, I'm playing Gears of War 2, COD 5, and a little bit of NHL 09. Gears 2 is just sick.

RCT was the best, I spent so much time playing that game. I always liked building the bobsled coasters and shooting the cars off into some water and just coming up with new ways to make rides crash and people dieSamsdog wrote:Close enough. That was an awesome game, the last few years I've really enjoyed the MLB the Show series. It ended up being the determining factor in me choosing PS3 over 360.Idoit40fans wrote:I miss playing baseball video games. I always want to get one, but I can't enjoy playing any of them. That game did look decent. Are you one of the people that were obsessed with MVP 05? So many people swear by that game, and I can't understand it. It seems mediocre at best.beerman wrote:That was an awesome game, the last few years I've really enjoyed the MLB the Show series. Re: Current video game being played
I was a fan of MVP pretty much only because it was the best baseball game out there at the time but that wasn't saying a whole lot either. I think the Show is much better than the MVP series was although I haven't really had anyone ever agree with me on that, but to me the Show is way better.
