Pens trade Kemp

Post by K2 »

...to Habs for conditional 7th round pick, as reported by maudineormsby in the GDT. JB's take: http://community.citizensvoice.com/blog ... treal.aspx

Stockpile those picks, RS. He's done a good job getting something for Sersen, Filewich and now Kemp, provided said conditions are met. Kemp's a solid AHL player, but he just hasn't fit. I think RS was hoping for a Mike Weaver type

Might be a move designed to make room for a demoted defenseman off the big team's roster--GoGo perhaps?

Hmm...could well be. That didn't even cross my mind. I just chalked it up to Kemp being mostly disappointing

EDIT: This was posted in the main forum, but it was buried so I missed it. Don't Pearl Harbor me :D
