I'm still playing NHL 09.

Does anyone have a problem with people quitting early? Anytime I get a two goal lead, the connection is "lost." It's incredibly annoying.

Lego Batman >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Lego Indiana Jones (although LIJ does not suck)

Also, I would not necessarily say that it is bad that you can't find nhl2k9... I would seriously look to rent it first if that is an option.

The DS is not bad, so long as you can find enough games to keep you busy. My personal favorite is probably New Super Mario Bros.

I've been giving NHL '09 a try for the PS3, but I just can't find the right Be A Player type; I tried Power Forward, but the way I was getting knocked off the puck crashing to the net makes Satan look like Jagr.

I planned to give my new HDMI cables ($5.79 plus $5.49-ish shipping at Newegg) a quick test with Fallout 3, and I ended up spending 6 or 7 hours playing!

I love my DS Lite. I bought it so I would have portable entertainment for business trips. I now spend more time playing DS games than anything else. There are plenty of good games: New Super Mario, the Castlevania games, Mario Kart, Lunar Knights, Rocket Slime, N+, Professor Layton, Etrian Odyssey, Final Fantasy, etc. Read a game review for any contemplated purchase, though, because there are some real turkeys out there too.

I set Zelda the Windwaker aside for a few days. I've been playing Wii sports.

We are picking up a few more games this weekend. I can't wait.

The DS Lite is "lighter" than the original. I have a Lite also. Sometime this year they are supposed to release a new DS where both screens are touch screens, so you might want to wait for that.

I'm completely obsessed with Resident Evil 4 for Wii, and having fun pissing off my brother because I'm awesome.

I also have RedSteel, but I have a serious problem controlling where the guys going and where he's aiming. It sucks.

I'm currently playing Sacred 2, which is basically Diablo II in 3D with a gigantic world map, with horses and dragons and spiders to ride.

Yep. The DS currently on sale is the second-generation DS. The original model was significantly bigger and heavier, hence the "Lite" name for the 2nd-gen. The 3rd-gen is the Nintendo DSi, which went on sale in Japan last November and will go on sale here sometime this year. It still only has one touch screen, but both screens are larger, the speakers are higher-quality, and it has two digital cameras built in (one points at your face, one on the outside). It's also thinner, although that comes at the expense of the removal of the GBA slot, so you can't play Gameboy games on the DSi. They also added a SD card slot for additional photos and music files and gave the DSi the ability to play AAC audio files. It's going to be more expensive, though, maybe around $200.
