The sale talk is probably negotiation rhetoric, but it looks like the PG unions will be making concessions in their next contract.

Newspapers are falling behind the internet age of reporting news and breaking stories. Blogs and forward thinking firms are blowing the old guys out of the water.

If any newspaper ownership wants a long-lasting business model, it must break the union.
