I know that spoon, but I don't memorize how many pages a thread has or where I left it. I have seen this done on other boards of this format. A page button at top and bottom of each page was all I suggested. Thanks for making me realize how stupid I am.
If they only have the option at the bottom of each page I typically end up reading the thread backwards to work my way back to where I last read it. You seem to be constantly scrolling to find the page button. This becomes very tedius when the thread exceeds 10 pages. This would still require that I go back to the bottom of any page to go to the previous or next.

Sketchy?
*That's* the type of the board I would very much like to see implemented. Easy to navigate around (lots of topics visible on the first page), but once you click on it, you'd get the familiar "tree" structure allowing easy replies.Admin wrote:I do know what you mean.
There is a threaded mod version of phpbb but it seems a bit sketchy. I had an older version of it up at http://www.pookalooka.com/scripts/PensBoard3/.
