Does anyone feel like a jerk picking the Penguins on NHL 09 online play? I want to send out a message to everyone I play letting them know I've been using them since I got the game and I'm a fan.

Re: Current video game being played
ever? meh. its solid, but the story line is a bit...vacuous. silly even. zeke looks like hes wearing an inter tube. i wish the game would've made melee a little bit more important, instead of being a "meh" attack skill. sucker punch definitely had that sly cooper feel to it (which isnt a bad thing). and it was a pretty quality game overall. some of the missions were repetitive and just okay. the blast shard hunting wasn't entertaining. it was annoying to me. if i have to click in the thumbstick one more time, im gonna gigawatt hammer myself.SolidSnake wrote:Infamous is one of the best games I ever played I really really like it.
besides that, the environment was awesome and i loved a lot of the ideas of the game. i think its one of the first ps3 exclusives worthy of praise.

Re: Current video game being played
Yea at first I watched a friend of mine play it and it didn't really interest me then one day I figured what the hay pick it up and I did and I'm hooked.
The shard hunting didn't bother me, especially after looking for the flags in Assassin's Creed. At first even the story didn't interest me but it kinda grew on me. I think I'm just burnt out of shooters, they are all I mainly played for the past 3-4 years and before that it was nothing but rpgs. I don't like and am no good at the GTA games so for this being a sandbox game it was really better then I thought it was. I no longer have a PSP because I never played the one I had before and I just hope they don't release an Infamous for that or I will be obligated to buy another PSP to play it.

I recently bought inFamous also. I really like it too. It is what Assassin's Creed should have been if they didn't make only 3 side missions and artificially lengthen the game by cut-and-paste game design.SolidSnake wrote:Infamous is one of the best games I ever played I really really like it.

Re: Current video game being played
So I played Ninja Gaiden II last night. That is not fun. I don't know what people like so much about it. I played through the first two chapters. The game so far is:
1a Face a group of 5-10 enemies
1b Put your sword through each of them 5-10 times till they die
1c Get hit a few times, ending your rhythm and combo, but otherwise, walk through them all
1d Repeat through the level countless times
2a Wall jump up some walls occasionally
2b Wall run across a gap
3 Fight a boss
End Chapter
Mind-numbingly repetitive, and I usually love this kind of game.
Send one enemy at me at least occasionally so I can actually progress through the level at a normal pace, please! The enemies should be way harder, and way more sparse. I liked the controls for NG for xbox a lot more, it just had a different feel to it that I preferred. But yeah, I'm glad I just borrowed this game from a friend.

Re: Current video game being played
Despite my backlog of games that I've not yet played (3 from Christmas in addition to the 3 mentioned above)...Final Fantasy Tactics has been given an ESRB rating to be put on PSN and I'll be downloading that as soon as I can. Great news for one of the greatest games of all time!
