Re: Current video game being played
Finished up the Guitar career (hard) and vocal career (easy) in GH:Smash Hits. Will probably hit the bass career over the weekend.
Might pickup Diablo 2 a bit...
Looking forward to The Conduit coming out this week as well.

b) I'm confused... he's clearly playing Halo, not Gears of War.

Been playing Gears 2 trying to complete all 50 waves on the horde mode on INSANE with my cousin and buddy. But holy smokes it's hard, your weapons do no damage to any locust, they might as well made a code where you run up to the locust and hand them daisies.

Re: Current video game being played
Fire and ice is a good call. I started playing that last week and then forgot about it. A few months ago I worked my way through, near the end, some of those levels are impossible. I think Snake Rattle n Roll is the ultimate tie breaker. Or marble madness. Definitely one of those two, they're epic.canaan wrote:we must find a 3rd game to break the tie....fire and ice would be a good battle. blades of steel as well. you'd steam roll me in tetris, fo sho.

Re: Current video game being played
Anyone else playing Punchout for Wii, or has played it?
I got some gametime in this weekend. So far I'm 6-0 in career mode and am on Great Tiger.
On Exhibition mode, I'm 31-1 (the one loss is to Glass Joe for the star). I got all three stars for the first 6 fighters, and have also knocked all of them out in the first round.
I'm fighting the hologram of Great Tiger. Seems like he is going to be pretty tough.
Any tips, tricks anything for the game?

Re: Current video game being played
I got it for PS3 last weekend, I love it so far. All the game modes are a bunch of fun, I didn't buy last year's so idk if this was changed last year or this year but I love the fact that you buy your skill uprgrades anymore that you actually have to earn them by consistently hitting good shots. It's fairly easy to pick up and play a solid round but the season mode is actually a challenge, you can't just pick it up and win every week (or at least I haven't been able to yet).Mike99 wrote:Just picked up tiger woods 10 today for ps3. i really like it, its pretty fun. anyone else get it yet?

I thought online options with the EA gamernet for bonus points and the realtime weather are pretty sweet additions.

Anyone played fight night 4 yet?
Thinking of buying it but am a little torn of some of the details a reviewer didn't like. Overall I'm sure it's great though.

Re: Current video game being played
Started playing through The Conduit yesterday. The graphics, sound and control are all great. At its heart it is a pure FPS, and I have never been a huge FPS fan (aside from the Metroid Prime series, which really are just Metroid games done in the FPS perspective, iMO) so my overall enjoyment is slightly lower than it would be otherwise. Cool game though. Def reccommended for any FPS fans that have a Wii.

Just started playing Bionic Commando for NES again. Forgot how good that game was (at least to me).
