Per JB's blog.
One-way AHL deal, I'm guessing it includes an invite to NHL camp. As JB noted, this is going to push Thiessen a bit. There were times last year when Berkhoel looked like a legit AHL goalie, so the competition should be interesting with three potentially solid guys in WBS.
That said, one has to wonder if there isn't more than meets the eye since Curry hasn't signed his QO yet...

They won't keep 3 goalies in WBS. Somebody, probably Thiessen, will start the year in Wheeling unless Curry signs in Europe.

Ganzak needs one helluva camp to make it in WBS too. Their blueline is pretty crowded ten guys under AHL contract... I'm looking at him in Wheeling to start too...

Agreed, the two best goalies will be the starters in WBS and in Wheeling. The loser of this competition will be the backup, who doesn't play much in the AHL, especially behind an elite goalie like Curry.whgnailer10 wrote:They won't keep 3 goalies in WBS.
