It's been very bad officiating. Obviously worse off for Southampton and the fans have a right to be mad, but what are you gonna do? Forget the red, get out there and play good soccer. They've been threatening and will likely capitalize eventually.

I am so glad I started following this sport!! Lots of good games this past weekend, watching Liverpool gut it out in a downpour, Watching the Spurs steal another point and best of all watching Arsenal win another one and move into 3rd place! Now If only the players would quit flopping around like they got shot everytime they get touched we would have something great.

The EPL makes the NHL look brilliant. Because Martin Atkinson was staring right at the play and blew it the FA won't do anything because they think it would make the ref look bad. As if it were possible. They aren't even saying that Barnes's tackle was acceptable (I've seen people argue it but I don't buy it) but are just refusing to admit their ref is a clown.

Edit: They're giving Atkinson the week off, so they're not even pretending that he did a good job, but they still won't actually fix the problem. Did they hire Colin Campbell when no one was looking?

I think Kane's in the conversation for best striker in the EPL now (along with Costa & Aguero).

If I'm putting a team together for years to come Kane is the first striker taken off the board. He's incredible.

has he shown to be more than a poacher in a great run of form yet? I dunno, those comments seem a little hasty. I haven't seem him too much, though.
