I find it odd that grown women think blocking you on facebook from seeing their vile shared pictures and how they are going to smack their teenage daughters for not cleaning their disgusting house is supposed to hurt my feelings. I should be sending them flowers for finally not making me part of the embarrassment that is their life.

People like that don't need to block me, once I start seeing those posts, I just ignore all of their future posts.

That person who insists on posting several times a week "If you send me game requests, I will unfriend you" doesn't realize they are probably posting the same message with more frequency than most game requests.
I intentionally send that person requests and he still hasn't unfriended me.

Indeed it does. That would just be de-friending thoughcount2infinity wrote:Does facebook have a foe feature?Idoit40fans wrote:People like that don't need to block me, once I start seeing those posts, I just ignore all of their future posts.

I just filter what I read from people that i'm still in contact with so that they are none the wiser.

I used to do that too when I still played games on there. If someone is giving one of those ultimatums, they're obviously bluffing. If they were actually going to do it, they'd send out a specific warning and/or just do it.JS© wrote:That person who insists on posting several times a week "If you send me game requests, I will unfriend you" doesn't realize they are probably posting the same message with more frequency than most game requests.

Can't you disable game requests?
Really, the only thing that bothers me on Facebook is girl drama. Like the alternating "I DON'T NEED A MAN" with "WHY DON'T GUYS LIKE ME?". I have no tolerance for that.

Yes, i'm pretty sure the option to ignore/disable game requests comes up every time you get one.

I admit to sending game requests for Candy Crush Saga, but they are only sent between people that actually play the game, so I don't bother the rest of my friends with them.

Are you kidding? Why should they have to do all the work to block a game?Idoit40fans wrote:Yes, i'm pretty sure the option to ignore/disable game requests comes up every time you get one.

Not exactly on the wall, but some girl(who happens to be really hot but thats not important) that I haven't spoken to in like a year and a half just invited me to her birthday. Its not strange that she invited me, I think she invited her entire facebook friends list, but her party is at a gay dudes club. I guess she is planning to go dancing and may not want to be hit on(strange for her), but still strange to me.

My friend organizes his own birthday party and sends out the invite via facebook. I find it weird because who organizes their own birthday party?Idoit40fans wrote:Not exactly on the wall, but some girl(who happens to be really hot but thats not important) that I haven't spoken to in like a year and a half just invited me to her birthday. Who has birthday parties? Last year my birthday party was my roommate and I going to the bar and watching a hockey game. He bought me a drink and drove for me. 30 is coming up, i'll either do nothing at all or something epic for it. Leaning towards nothing.

When you say epic, do you mean...meet with N. Korea's leader, figure out peace by giving them Sarah Jessica Parker and 3rd round pick in the upcoming NHL draft?

30 is coming up for me in May. I told my wife that for my birthday, I just want money to put towards stuff for our new home, and that's it. She was disappointed.Idoit40fans wrote:Who has birthday parties? Last year my birthday party was my roommate and I going to the bar and watching a hockey game. Probably like New Orleans or Vegas. Or more likely sitting on my couch. I still have yet to have a pens home playoff game on my birthday and its getting annoying. They won at NYR in 07-08 playoffs. It cannot happen this year.Kovy27 wrote:Last birthday party was 12. I had a birthday drinking night when I was 21.Idoit40fans wrote:Who has birthday parties? Re: Odd Things You Read on Your Facebook Wall Thread
we had a house party on my 30th. i wouldn't really consider it a "birthday party" since it basically had the same vibe as all our other house parties.
