Narduzzi's twitter makes me excited. There's a map of where they recruited today!! I mean how can they not win 10 games next year? This must be how fans of good programs feel

They have almost convinced me to lay down for season tickets this year, but going off past history that is a bad idea.

Because they are Pitt.

If you weren't a STH before, this is a great year to buy. Not even taking Narduzzi into account.. PSU comes into town next year, so that might be tough finding good seats, but if you're a renewal at that point instead of buying for the first time you'll be in better shape.

Right on. Plus, Pitt might actually be a decent team even though they are going through a coaching transition.

Pitt has hired Purdue WR coach Kevin Sherman for the same position. Two years at Purdue, seven at Virginia Tech, five at Wake Forest, four at Ohio State. Eighteen years as a WRs coach is a long damn time, so I guess he's done something right throughout his career. 24/7 Sports has him ranked as a pretty solid recruiter.

Also, Pitt has offered Pine-Richland QB Ben DiNucci a scholarship. Currently committed to Penn.

Pitt also extended an offer to a DT who is currently committed to Purdue, but was recruited to Purdue by the new WR coach.

They offered Dinucci, and are supposedly offering the Quip DT.

DiNucci will be an interesting case. Ivy League with some kind of financial assistance, but not a full ride since they don't offer athletic or academic scholarships, or Pitt for free and the opportunity to play Division 1 college football.

slappy would be able to complete his Italian Pitt QB tattoo on his back, so there's that.

In more specific Pitt news, I love this new coaching staff. Their use of Twitter makes it feel like we jumped in a time machine and started recruiting like its 2015 instead of the mid-90s. Mike Riley going to Nebraska feels like the best thing to happen to this program in my lifetime.

Yeah I check Narduzzi's twitter every day, he is always posting how they are out recruiting, wishing players happy birthdays, Hail to Pitt etc. It's refreshing.

They are also playing up the program's historical strengths -- eg, countless images of the College Football Hall of Famers who have played there, images of the Pitt alums who are also in the Pro Hall, etc. In the last decade alone, they've had the best RB (McCoy), best WR (Fitz), and best CB (Revis) in the NFL at certain times.
