He wasn't even offered by PSU. It's more like stealing change out of someone's couch.

This Gentleman is certainly trolling to a good extent. That being said the exuberance over nard dog is getting out of control. You would think Pitt fans would exercise caution but frankly it has been a long time since this fanbase has been so optimistic. And all this excitement has been generated over a few tweets and some good commitments.

Also there was a stooah sighting on Pitt blather

JUCO DE Allen Edwards committed yesterday. 6'3, 247 lbs. push rusher who recently visited Missouri and had an offer from UMass.

Today, LB Saleem Brightwell from Paramus, NJ committed. 6'2, 205 lbs. Rivals has him as a 3 star recruit, 18th ranked player in NJ and 49th LB in the country. ESPN has him 11th in the state and 31st LB nationally. Other offers included Miami, Missouri, Oregon (a visit was scheduled for next weekend), Michigan State, Iowa, UNC, NC State, Rutgers, Syracuse, Boston College, and Wisconsin.

Two defensive lineman, two linebackers, and a safety so far. That's pretty solid work over the past 10 days. I have a feeling more will come from this weekend's official visits. Would like to see some additional help on the defensive line and another DB or two. JUCO DE Sean Adesanya is scheduled to visit next weekend and will then decide between Pitt and Illinois, but the definitely need help on the interior.

Offensively I think they'll get a QB (either DiNucci or the kid from Michigan who is committed to Buffalo) and a WR or two. Wouldn't expect to see more RBs or OL.

I wonder if Narduzzi can resurrect L. Pitts career? That would be of an immense help in the secondary. The defense in general just needs to be better, I'm excited to see what he and his staff can do and hopefully coach some guys up and bring in some good players over the next few classes.

Would be nice to find someone to play opposite of Boyd as well, and I would love to somehow get a legit QB prospect in here at some point. Oh well.. baby steps and I like what I see so far.

Jim Chaney apparently really liked DiNucci and couldn't believe the previous coaching staff ignored him. Now its just a matter if he's willing to pass up an Ivy League education for the chance to play D-1 football.

Did they offer DiNucci now? or no? Can't keep up with who all is offered and who is coming in for visits etc...

The only thing I feel confident predicting is that the defense will be better.
