By the by, I just heard on the radio that this recorded conversation apparently took place back in October.

Its like magic, this gold digger, and his wife got in a room and hashed a plan to take advantage of this old racist guy. The chick gets the old man to buy her stuff, magic gets the team, and the wife gets half of the sale price.

A forced sale will depress the value of the team, even in the face of competitive bids; he has to sell. So for the sake of argument, let's say instead of $574 billion they only get $250 billion. That means Mrs Sterling would have conspired herself out of $162 billion.

Then again, she may be banking on D Sterling filing an anti-trust lawsuit against the NBA for the devaluation of his franchise. And, as Shyster pointed out yesterday, he would be entitled to recover treble his losses. So maybe the wife is counting on this..... in my above example, that means there would be the $250 billion sales price, plus potentially $972 billion in additional community property damages, bringing her take up to $611 billion, instead of a paltry $125 billion. Genius.

Or, Occam's razor might be right, and this is just a case of an old fart saying some outlandish nonsense that happened to be recorded.

Despite the man in the White House, that has/is been generally true of AAs. It's silly ignore the fact that your are far less likely to be subjected to racism as a white person in the US of A.

Unbelievable. Seriously.

If this was a white ESPN host making a derogatory comment towards another race the media/people would have his head on a stick.

The sad part is his views are so commonly shared among minorities. Racism only exists because people still talk about it and view each other as black/white instead of just "people". Reverse racism is way too common - in college I see it a lot. Black students can say whatever they want - any names they want to call a white kid is generally accepted, but if a white student says anything to the degree they say it's taboo and they are blacklisted and the black students will be enraged. It's stupid.

White people are the only people who can be racist apparently and that's a load of ****

If you want to see how racism exists from all types of people, just search for a news article that illustrates the Tweets after the Treyvon Martin verdict. The Tweets that night from people were absolutely sickening to see and read. That kind of thing is just allowed to happen without much thought, whereas if it had been a white majority Tweeting about going out and killing 12 black kids to make up for a verdict, all hell would break loose. It's a terrible reality not many people like to accept because it's simply a taboo subject. Reverse racism exists and racism exists across all spectrums of color and ethnicity.
