That’s what Winston is doing. When you have a stud pass rusher, you need to plan for it. The Steelers think they can handle Garrett.

They are truly overestimating their offensive line this game. It’s been better lately, but not tonight.

Only time I am always for it is in that 35-40 yard line where it’s just outside FG range and it’s less than a foot to go. Punting ends up just meeting 15 yards because you rarely see anyone choke up enough and at that point you can even try a hard count and take the delay to give the punter more room to not get a touchback.

But in your own half it’s rarely smart.

I think Tomlin is a very overrated coach and he thinks he’s more clever than he is. It’s like he doesn’t see the trend of the game. The Browns are smothering the OL and a hard fought defensive game is about field position not gambling.

Also, the run-run-pass-4th down approach isn’t working.

Run of speed and expectation that the OL will give push. I think it can work but needs a lead blocker.
