Re: *** Akallabêth ... Game Thread ***
lol....so the fact that SDD gave me a favorable opinion, and literally the FIRST POST OF THE FRIGGING DAY PHASE in which tfrizz was voted off was me explaining all of the reasons tfrizz was red. I mean, I know people do that for strategy sometimes, but you don't do that when it's down to (ostensibly) two reds, and there are still like 14 people left in the game. Your odds are much better with two left.
save Zaro
I need to think about this some more. If we are talking about things that make you uncomfortable, I really don't like the way Willie is basically trying to dictate the next three kills. If we don't get the person by the end of the next day phase, we lose. I get very nervous when I see people suggesting how the game should end.

Sweet, this is basically how WK saved relantel in that other game.

Re: *** Akallabêth ... Game Thread ***
Zaro is starting to make less sense to me. Redwill posted the write-up literally 30 minutes after the last day phase ended...yet we are to believe that Zaro is still MIA during the game? This is starting to seem way too convenient to me. If he was able to submit his PM that quickly, he would be in this game thread. I don't think zaro is a good play.

I just don't believe Zaro would be completely MIA in this thread if he was red...again, bearing in mind that he had to have logged in and known where we were at in the game since the PMs have been coming in.

Then why the quick vote on him today? Not saying you are wrong but you wanted him dead rather quick. A simple matter of research and thought changing your mind?

I don't understand why two people suggest voting zaro instead of just finishing him. The only logical explanation is that I am red.

If there are 3 reds to start the game then, assuming I don't get lynched, the best outcome for the reds is a tie, yes?

If you can save yourself every night, then yeah. If not, they win a tie.

You believe you are blue? Hah.Gaucho wrote:I believe shaf, obhave, and Gaucho are blue, WK and PFiDC are green, and zaro is red. Let's find out.
The quick night phase seems to point to it not being zaro, has he really been around on the board today? I'm leaning more towards WK, over gaucho. He is taking the vig to come out (if one exists). I don't like that.

But it also gives the reds an idea if there is actually a vig, which they would probably like to have nailed down. It will also make pfidc have to choose who to protect once the vig is revealed, also an advantag to the reds.Willie Kool wrote:It would give us one more known player out of the few remaining...

If the vig isn't shooting, they are no different from a blue.

Re: *** Akallabêth ... Game Thread ***
lynch Willie Kool
Call it a gut instinct. Early in the TFrizz vote, it was me with two votes and tfrizz with one vote, and he pretty quickly tacked a vote on me.
He did mention something about MIMH being red, but by that time, MIMH was already an imminent target of the village. To add, after he said that "MIMH could be the red alpha", he decided to vote for Crankshaft instead, on pretty lame reasoning. If he thought that MIMH was the red alpha after Night 1, why vote for Crankshaft?

WK's effort to direct the next three kills kind of sealed the deal for me.

Current count:
2 - Zarovich (PFIDC, Gaucho)
1 - Willie Kool (shafnutz)
4 to kill.
I gotta be gone for a couple of hours.

Kill shad
Clr pls
He's all over the place today, scrambling with explanations.
And there's no way he's still alive unless he's red.
His now trying to turn it around on me kind of sealed the deal for me.

Re: *** Akallabêth ... Game Thread ***
Yep, Willie Kool is the last red. I'm not all over the place at all today, it's a crucial day phase and I switched my vote once. I'm not "scrambling with explanations" at all. If I was the last red, why in the hell would I remove my vote from Zaro when it was a foregone conclusion he would be killed today. Then, tomorrow, all I would have to do is survive one more day, which would be pretty easy considering I was the first vote on tfrizz. Chances are, the village would go with someone else, and I would win the game.
I had NOTHING to gain by prolonging this day phase, and was sitting quite pretty. I do feel a lot better about my gut instinct though.

And if WK were red, why would he not finish zaro? Only explanation: because both are red?

Because he has to come after me. If he would have cast a quick vote for Zaro he would have looked guilty as sin. It's his only play.Gaucho wrote:And if WK were red, why would he not finish zaro? Only explanation: because both are red?

Lol
I could have finished Zaro without any suspicion.
The fact Zaro sat with 3/4 votes as long as he did means either he's red or the last red was already on him
