does atlanta suck up all the transplants from the big southern state schools? So just a bunch of people that care more about college football than pro sports, so they're less likely to adopt the local teams.

I'm unusually excited about this season. Can't wait to see all the young talent with this last draft class.

I'm pretty interested to see how Love and James play together in Cleveland. I'm also interested to see the potential injury trainwreck with Embiid in Philly. This dude has Greg Oden written all over him.

You're probably excited for Derek Rose to have a big year.

Chicago is so overrated. Even with a healthy Derrick Rose I don't see them going far into the playoffs.

I don't care about the outcome, but I receieved a text photo from a good friend posing with four of the Cavs cheerleaders. His wife works for the team and arranged it. That he's revovering (if that's possible) from a brain tumor, makes it especially funny and odd and weird and ridiculous and sad and joyful all at once.

Its bad when I don't know half of the Knicks players and yet they still beat the Cavs

I'd be surprised if (unless you were a cavs fan) you knew half the cavs beyond Bron, Love and Irving...

Off the top of my head other than them I know Varejao, Waiters, Thompson, Mike Miller...and that's it.
Edit: crap I forgot they had Marion and James Jones
