Employment Opportunity in Maryland Law Enforcement

I know most people on this board will not be interested, but I thought I would post this in case anyone was interested in a law enforcement career. The Maryland State Police are hiring on a large scale level for Troopers. Beginning salary starts at 38,000 a year the day you enter the academy, with full health benefits. After three years of service, you get an automatic promotion from ttooper to trooper first class. This bumps the salary up to over 50,000 a year. THe reitrement is currently 22 years of service = 58% of your salary. 28 years of service will = 78% of your salary. Their are also numerous opprtunities for flight paramedics. The MSP has the best aviation section in the country. Maryland does not have lifelight or private air ambulance service. The Maryland State Police has medivac helicopters stationed throughout the State to fly rescue missions.
