Penner to the Nailers

Not much of a surpise.
The other thing mentioned in the article is WBS adding even more Dmen. They've had a lot of guys coming & going recently an I'm not referring to Oiler players. I'd say Bissonette is toast as far as the Pens go. Drew Fata and the other Dman drafted with him, as well as Fernholm were other guys who couldn't advance out of Wheeling. After one good camp out of juniors he's really dropped out of sight.Even Andy Schneider had some time at WBS. I'm aware of LeTang, Goligoski and the college guys, but I'd say Shero going to add some prospects down there other than career AHLers. The 2 Finns we drafted would cost more to play at WBS under the new CBA I believe.

This is why I have a problem with the move:
Schaefer has struggled for most of this season.

He won four of his first five starts for Worcester, but has only one win in the 14 games he’s played since.

His 2.93 goals against average and .894 save percentage are both worse than Andrew Penner’s – the goalie he replaced on the Penguins’ roster.
