WBS Pens' weekly report - 4/6

Post by eastonpensfan »

The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins won 2 of their last 3 games, all against the two teams ahead of them in the standings.

It's a very exciting time to watch this team as a lot of talent is returning from the Edmonton Oilers before the playoffs.

Exciting in that they will make a run. Depressing because we have alot of holes to fill next season with Edmonton getting their own farm team. That means alot of contracts for the AHL level.

There's a lot of talent coming out of the college level for this team next year. The latest rumors of baby Boogaard coming over next year would eliminate the need for Bonvie.

With the AHL vet rule, they could only dress 5 veteran skaters anyway, so I would look for them to find guys of the Connor James mold (young, talented AHL players) to fill out this team.
