Penguins would be wise to "beg" for the Rooney's to get involved with the AFL team and arena.

Doesnt help that the marketing for that team was even below bushleague material.

Both provide great arguments in support of the IoC proposal and the need for a new arena. Potentially, the new arena could have 3 regular sports tennants. It could all start with a bang when the arena opens and announces that arena football is back and the pro basketball team is moving in as well.

I mentioned this before, the AFL would do very well in Pittsbrugh for a while and they won't play in the Igloo. Best case scenario is someone coming in who wants to buy the Pens and also get an AFL expansion team and put them in Pittsburgh while backing the IoC plan.
