The thing that really impresses me about this kid (since I don't know anything else about him) is his durability and that he stays out of the penalty box. He played 32 games each of the last 3 years and his highest PIM total for any year was 28.
Considering that the only d-men under contract in the minors is Bissonnette, D'Aversa, Lovejoy, and Letang (who might be in Pittsburgh to start the year), I'll take just about anyone who will be willing to pull on a Baby Pens jersey this year.
