This isn't really big news.
The top LWs right now are Taffe, Stone (hasn't played C since his wrist injury - faceoff issues), Kennedy and Minard. Taffe has been moved to center because there aren't elite centers right now in WBS. Kennedy has been tried on the RW, but Filewich has the top RW spot pretty well locked up.
James most likely will be playing LW on the 3rd line with Nathan Smith and Tim Wallace. All 3 are defensively strong forwards who have some offensive talent.
The player who this affects most is Joe Jensen. He's the LW who seemed to be trying to bust into the top 9. I can't see him beating out Minard, Brent, Filewich, Stone, Taffe, Kennedy, James, Smith, or Wallace. He's a very speedy winger with a good set of hands around the net. C/W Kurtis McLean also can't be happy with this news.
