Anyone gone for the $99 overnight Nailers deal?

Post by tjand72 »

This sounds like a great deal to me. Even if the Nailers aren't "NHL quality", you can't beat a ticket and room for $100. I live in Center, so although I wouldn't need a room, it would be mighty handy to have one available.

Does anyone have any information about this? Perhaps which hotel is used, concession prices at the game, etc.? I've never been to a Nailers game before, so I'm not sure what to expect.

Any info would be helpful. Thanks.

I heard a radio commercial yesterday that said it included a dinner for two... So is it $99 for two tickets, dinner and a room?

I just checked:

$99 - two tickets, room and dinner (McLure House)
$149 - two tickets, room and $25 credit for dinner (Wheeling Island Casino)

My dad and I went down to Wheeling to see the Nailers last year and we did the 99 dollar deal and it is well worth it. It was a Saturday and we got down to Wheeling early because the Pens and Flyers played in the afternoon. We watched part of the game at the hotel and then they give you a 25 dollar gift certificate to dinner at some sports bar close by. Forget the name of it. Anyways, after dinner, my dad and I went back to the hotel room and got drunk before entering the Nailers game. Once we got into the Nailers game, we drank more and became even more intoxicated. All I am going to say is thank god for the hotel room that night! If I were you, I would take advantage of the deal!
