Ya, the referee was Jamie Koharski. This game turned into a gong show. Everything was being called a penalty. I'm not complaining about the calls, I'm complaining about the way the game was called (if that makes any sense). They are calling more penalties now than they called during the regular season. It is really taking away from what playoff hockey is all about. Towards the end of the 2nd and in the 3rd period, the Nailers got terribly frustrated and took penalty after penalty. A lot of the penalties were of the retaliation variety. Reading would get away with the first shot, then the referee would see the Nailers do it. I guess if you aren't getting caught, might as well keep doing it.
