I was upset with Nailers marketing staff about the way they advertised two promotions a few years back. Namely, advertising the promotions with no fine print -- one was a Lemieux Nailers bobblehead -- to the first x amount of tickets sold, but they did not list that in ads. So I got there early -- about 90 minutes in fact, bought my ticket, grabbed some food across the street, then got to the arena about 20 miutes to gametime, and the bobbleheads were all given away. Had I known, I would have absolutely gone in instead of getting food.

Oh, and when I contacted staff about this they were very "thanks but no thanks, sorry" about the whole thing and sent me a voucher for two tickets which I chose not to redeem.

I didn't like the nesting doll thing they did a few years beck where they gave away one nest at a time over 3 games. That was not in the fine print either.

Yeah, who wants a third of a nesting doll? The Nailers haven't improved that much though my girl called about the $99.00 per night thing and the ticket office never returned her call. Nice.

The game was fun, there was a shootout and the Nailers lost. It wasn't too crowded because of the WVU hoops game. Had a green beer.
