WBS Injury Report

Post by Digitalgypsy66 »

Here's the injury updates from WBS practice today.

Keven Veilleux (shoulder) and Ryan Bayda (knee) are awaiting MRI results. Neither injury is expected to be short term.

Aaron Boogaard (head) is being monitored for symptoms. Nick Johnson (ankle) did more in practice than he has in recent days and is getting closer to returning. Eric Tangradi skated in practice and reported on Twitter that he's back to eating solid food. Coach Todd Reirden said it was either food poisoning or a 24-hour bug. They're hopeful he'll be ready for Hartford on Thursday.

Pretty much unreal. Tough times ahead for the Baby Pens. We have one of their best playmakers up (Letestu) and pretty much all their starting defensemen. With KV, and now Bayda out, (And Johnson already), they have little to no offensive pedigree.

Joey Haddad and Alex Grant called up from Wheeling. Both good players.

Damn. When you need to tweet that you are back on solid foods, it was one hell of an illness.

I'm beginning to get the feeling CPZ is going to be a bust...first he gets sent to Wheeling, then they call up Haddad before him.

2-game suspension for violation of team rules.

Vitale also hurt his shoulder on Wednesday, so he might be out for a few days at least.
