I know the Brooks have turned things around a little bit in Wheeling, but I do know they also have other stakes in ECHL teams, imparticular the Florida Everblades. I know they were attempting to purchase or did purchase the Everblades.
Wheeling really needs to renovate the arena a little bit and change the game atmosphere. They furnish a decent hockey club, but its the building and the way they treat the fans that just gets on my nerves. The music is always WAY too loud, the seats are falling apart etc. I don't mind going to Wheeling to pick up a game on a lazy Sunday when TV is dominated by football, but they need to change alot down there... see Hillbilly Night they had a few years ago....
