Do you guys think that Despres,Bortuzzo,Strait,Sneep,Samuelsson can crack the Penguins roster in next few years?
Despres I have no doubt,he will, maybe next year already.. but others I doubt.. We have all guys on long term contracts.

Strait looked alright against the Caps on Monday. We'll get to see more of him tonight, obviously.

I think all of those prospects you listed will be NHL players, yes.
Despres, Samuelsson have top-4 potential.
Sneep, Bortuzzo, and Strait have top-6 potential.

I have no knowledge of how he was doing, but I thought people were disappointed with his World Junior play?JTS66 wrote:Despres will be up next year for sure.. he is killing it!!

In order of likelihood, IMO the list goes
Despres
Bortuzzo
Strait
Samuelsson
Sneep
Sneep and Samuelsson are long term projects, Despres should really serve at least a year's apprenticeship in the A, and Bortuzzo and Strait are both a year or so away IMO. Really surprised Bortuzzo wasn't brought up over Strait, but Strait looked decent in his stint.
Welcome back, P4L, where the heck have you been?
