Thought a more current thread to talk about WBS current season might be in order. I won't be presumptuous enough to proclaim it official though.
listened to the Springfield game on Pens radio the other night - scored in bunches but lost 7-4, where there was a 3-3 tie before Springfield scored on both halves of a 5 on 3.
WBS lost again last night in OT to the Sens, 5-4 I think.
The Baby Pens seem to have plenty of offense, but seem to struggle on defense. Now, I don't claim to have watched any, and the impressions I have are based on a radio broadcast of one, and twitter feeds of the other.

Always enjoyed AHL games was a STH for the Providence Baby Bruins when I lived there in their 1998-99 Calder Cup winning season.
I've been hoping to catch the Baby Pens at peat once this year.
Good thread!

Re: WBS 11-12 season thread
How sad is it looking at the Wilkes Barre roster and not seeing one legitimate top 6 forward? And what happened to Brad Thiessen? An .885 save percentage isn't going to get him to Pittsburgh anytime soon.
