schremp to WBS

Well looks like WBS is getting two more prospects. What does this mean for our own prospects ... we are getting pretty heavy down the center. Do we develop our own or are we obilige to develop theirs while they take roster spots away from some kids that really deserve and so far have worked their butts off for a spot.

I'll reply to this here because people will get upset that it's in the Penguins forum...

I think its to the point where there are too many Edmonton prospects in WBS. Having Schremp down there is nice because playing with him will be good for say, Filewich or Christensen, but it kind of bothers me that role players like Sestito and Reddox are going to be taking ice away from our guys. I'd rather develop a guy like Mathieu Roy or Tim Wallace. I feel bad for Penner because he was probably going to back up Sabourin, now he has to compete with Deslauriers. If it propels our minor league team to a championship, so be it, just as long as it isn't at our prospects' expense.

With WB getting Deslauriers, it makes me begin to think the NHL club is going to start the season with 3 goaltenders on their roster...
