A new ESPN+ streaming video. I don't subscribe to the streaming service, but am curious if anyone here has seen the video, and if anything interesting happened in the bid war and if they would share the details.
Thanks,
Saving Sakic

Re: Saving Sakic
Saw it. It was good. It was more about the finances of the Avs and how they were tied to a movie company and the Rangers thought the Avs wouldn't match because of the signing bonus. Avs had to scramble to make it work.
It was good, not great. But it's a hockey documentary so I'll watch it.
Also watched I'm Just Here for the Riot. The 2011 Canucks riots. Total S show. Can't believe people would do that to their own city.

Thanks, KG. I appreciate the feedback.
The one riot that always stood out to me was Montreal in '93. Hockey's birthplace. I guess it was more about politics than hockey, and the time and place were set by all of the anger.
