Buyout of Graves is pricey, but with the cap increase, not as hurtful. 50% retention and giving up a draft pick would be an option, but maybe they hire Graves a personal trainer and toughen him up in the offseason.

Imama still playing for 5min per game is ultimate stupidity.. play Heinen and let them play those regular 9-10min.

Agreed. No reason for Boko to be part of this Line Up.Not going to give any productive minutes.Pens4Life wrote: Sun Mar 09, 2025 3:47 pmImama still playing for 5min per game is ultimate stupidity.. play Heinen and let them play those regular 9-10min.

Wish that Graves could offer some optimism but 2 Years into this sadly it just isn't there.

He was fine in Colorado and NJ. Actually very good. Not sure the coaching staff knows how to effectively adapt to the talent that they have. This has been a problem for many years. Glass leaves and immediately makes an impact in NJ today. This happens a great deal. It isn’t a coincidence. The Penguins can spin rebuild all they want but the problem is not the players. It’s behind the bench.Zalapski33 wrote: Sun Mar 09, 2025 4:01 pmSouthern Fan wrote: Sun Mar 09, 2025 3:44 pmBuyout of Graves is pricey, but with the cap increase, not as hurtful. 50% retention and giving up a draft pick would be an option, but maybe they hire Graves a personal trainer and toughen him up in the offseason.

EK nearly gave up another iast second breakaway with an idiotic decision at the Offensive Blue Line.

Jarry has thusfar looked like an actual goalie. Also 10 shots and 20 minutes ; no goals against.

It would be really good for him to put together a nice run of a bunch of 2-1 losses where his save% is above .900 to end the season with Sid getting a point on the lone goal.Puck-Lurker wrote: Sun Mar 09, 2025 4:30 pmJarry has thusfar looked like an actual goalie. Fair Point. Its why they can't have the promising WBS Young Players getting affected by this System and playing under this Coach and Staff.
30 Draft Picks in Rounds 1-3 over the next 3 Seasons.Should be able to gather some talent via this and utilizing the volume of picks for Free Agent Acquisitions. But they cannot move forward unless the correct decision is made with who is behind the bench.

Cody Glass is scoring at a 1 goal per game clip, 100% shooting percentage.
Had a goal on his only shot in his debut today.
