Filewich wins Fastest Skater at the Skills Comp.

He did the lap in 14.553, which would beat Ovechkin by over a half second.

It's funny because he doesn't stand out for his speed at the games, but he is a very good technically sound skater which always helps in this event when you have to carry speek through the turns.

Is he ready for NHL duty yet? From what I have read about him, he would be the perfect LW for Sid.

Filewich is a RW. I see him replacing Oellet on the big club at RW next season.
