FSN fires Mike Lange (30-Jun-2006)
Fox Sports Net have fired long-time Penguins broadcaster Mike Lange. He will be replaced by his ex-partner, Paul Steigerwald. Lange has been offered the radio play-by-play spot but he has not made a decision on taking this position.

Six Pens get qualifying offers (26-Jun-2006)
The following six Pens have been extended qualifying offers: forwards - Colby Armstrong, Ryan Malone, Niklas Nordgren, Jani Rita; defenseman - Brooks Orpik; goaltender - Marc-Andre Fleury.

The following 11 players have not been extended qualifying offers and become unrestricted free agents: forwards - Ben Eaves, Andy Hilbert, Krystofer Kolanos, Konstantin Koltsov, Cam Paddock, Tomas Surovy, Petr Taticek; defensemen - Drew Fata, Alexandre Rouleau, Andy Schneider; goaltender - Andy Chiodo.

Pens to play preseason game in London, Ont (7-Jun-2006)
