WBS Official message board/forum gone?

Post by Lesky »

Hi.

I was a member of the official WBS forum, and now I can not find it anymore.

Has it been shut down?

If so, when and why?

Cheers

Probably because there were a lot of whackjobs there. If you're looking for WBS discussion, the comments at WilkesBlog are a good discussion, and there is a lot of traffic on Jonathan Bombulie's blog. The blog is great, but the comments are full of the irrational whackjobs that brought down the old WBS board

That message board did have a fair share of "whackjobs" but I did meet some great people off of it who helped me with my visits there during the NHL Lockout.

Oh I'm sure...sadly the good posters were often jumped on for being rational.

Another good WBS source is Chirps From Center Ice. Good blog.

I think the people were extremly nice on that board back in the time. I got all Tom Grace radio broadcasts saved at my computer.

A guy from there even capped WBS playoff games for me during the time Armstrong, Whitney and Fleury played etc there.

He put it up on server and let me download it!

I actually kept the games as a memory of these kind people :)
