Word is that former Pen, Drake Berehowsky, will be named the next Head Coach of the Wheeling Nailers.

Just catching up now, why was Donatelli interim?

Donatelli was the assistant coach last year until Stan Drulia left to take an assistant job with Milwaukee of the AHL. When he left, Donatelli was named as interim Head Coach.

Clark Donatelli's interim tag was removed and he has been promoted to Head Coach. Things with Berehowsky apparently fell apart.

The Nailers and Penguins have also announced that their affiliation has been renewed.

If he wasn't named as the coach, he was apparently going to stay in the organization in some capacity.
