Concussed.

Post by Humperdink »

"A former Pitt football player claims in a federal class-action lawsuit filed Thursday that the university, NCAA, former Big East Conference, ACC and American Athletic Conference failed to protect football players from concussions."

"Chicago-based law firm Edelson PC has filed at least 43 class-action concussion lawsuits against the NCAA and Division I programs since May."

As popular as it is today, this sport will soon meet it's demise. Well, maybe not soon, but it will not be around forever.

Edit: Recall the "Flying Wedge".

They say youth football enrollment is down 25% around Western Pennsylvania.

Last I heard the NCAA refused to cut down practices and other ideas to protect the players more.
